R’fef’s Regret

Type: Ring
Rarity: Rare
Special: Requires attunement by a warlock.

Description:

This ring appears as a gauntlet. It has 4 charges and regains all expended charges at dawn. While wearing the ring, you can use a charge to cast Ensnaring Strike as a cantrip. For each charge beyond the first, the damage dealt by the spell is increased by 1d6. If the spell critically hits, the target is restrained for 1 round.

Myxomatosis

Type: Weapon
Rarity: Very rare
Special: None.

Description:

This black, +2 rapier has a narrow, straight blade with a slight curve to the tip. The guard is made of a deep blue-green blue-black, and a single feather of a harpy is mounted on it. The crossguard and the feather are made of a deep blue-green blue-black. The pommel is golden and shaped like a harpy’s head. The grip is wooden and wrapped in black leather. The blade is made of silver and is always sharp. If you score a critical hit with this weapon, you may roll 1d12 and add the number to the damage of the attack. Once you have used this ability, you cannot do so again until the next dawn.

Vofkir Lute

Type: Wondrous item
Rarity: Very rare
Special: None.

Description:

This lute is finely crafted with a deep red wood, decorated with images of spiders interwoven with gold. While attuned to this lute, you can cast Spider Climb at will.

Via Negativa

Type: Staff
Rarity: Legendary
Special: Requires attunement by a cleric or paladin of lawful good alignment.

Description:

This staff of white oak is topped with a golden orb. The orb is surrounded by a ring of thorns of gold. The staff has 10 charges. While holding this staff, you can use an action to expend 1 charge and target one living creature that you can see within 60 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 23 Wisdom saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute.

This blindness ends early if the target spends the action required to open its eyes. This property can also be used against a construct, undead, or elemental. Constructs, undead, or elementals must succeed on a DC 23 Constitution saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute as well as any other allies of the target.

Horrid Bow

Type: Wondrous item
Rarity: Rare
Special: None.

Description:

This bow is strong, heavy, strong, and dark. It is made of hardwood and is always cool to the touch. This bow has 100 charges and it regains 10 charges daily at dawn. You can use an action to expend 1 or more charges to fire an arrow from the bow. The bow has a +5 bonus to attack and damage rolls.

Fuzzy’s Drum

Description:

This is a big black drum that has a picture of a kobold with a fat little smile on its face. This is a very powerful magical item. The picture looks as if it was hand painted.

History:

Fuzzy Watermender got a job as a drummer for a famous band of musicians. When he started drumming with them, he learned a lot of magic from the drummer. One day the band was set to perform in front of King Buford. The drummer wouldn’t drum for the king because he felt he was a lousy king. In an attempt to kill the drummer, the king dropped a glass of wine on the drum. The glass broke and the wine spilled all over the drum. The drummer was instantly electrocuted and died. Fuzzy was there and wanted the drum, so he took it from the horrible scene.

Flute of the Knight

Description:

This flute is made of a black, gleaming metal. The flute has a beautiful sound to it almost like a harp however it is more haunting. During the time of the Battle of Armok the Knights used the flute to help keep their spirits up while they were fighting. The flute had the ability to make the sound of an army on the march within it. If you are a bard or harper you are able to use this flute during your time of study to help bring your music to life. There are also stories that the flute helped the knights to fight against the mighty ogres of Armok.

History:

Fafara of Armok was a famous halfling musician, known as the most famous of the many halfling bards. She was an adventurer, studying under halfling bards in Noratory. She went with her husband, Dagnak the Great, on the greatest adventure of his life. The two travelled together until they were older, when Dagnak died.

She continued her adventures, travelling through the land, telling stories and musicing with various bardic circles. She became known as the greatest living bard in Noratory. She was terribly wounded in one of her travels when she was killed by an ogre. It was said that she used her flute in combat against the ogre. The sound of the flute raised the courage of her fellow adventurers.

The flute was said to be able to make the sound of an army on the march. It was considered very powerful.
