Second Random Tables RPG Book for Fantasy

If you haven’t heard, the second random tables RPG book for fantasy is now available on Amazon in print and ebook. The science-fiction random tables didn’t sell too well, so I haven’t made a print version of it yet, but there’s a total of four books available in the series so far. I’m still working on adding graphics on the inside and improving my formatting skills. In the meantime, here’s a look at the cover and some of the examples of the content inside this super-thick tabletop RPG random tables book!

Random Tables RPG Book Examples

Tavern Patrons

Here’s just a handful of the hundred tavern patrons you can get in this book.

  • Nira: Female Half-elf – She’s a beautiful tavern wench who wears a tight dress. She’s a flirt and often tries to go home with male patrons.
  • Torren Tusselhoffer: Male Halfling – He’s a loudmouth who doesn’t take no for an answer. He’s always trying to pick fights with larger patrons.
  • Alek Stonecrew: Male Dwarf – He’s a powerful dwarf who loves to sing drinking songs. He’s a great storyteller and doesn’t mind telling tales of his adventures.

Random Forest Encounters

Here’s just two of the hundred random forest encounters you can get in this thick book.

  1. A group of four armed men can be seen in the distance. They are fighting what appears to be an invisible creature. They are also fighting what appears to be a swarm of green creatures with orange eyes. If players approach, they will hear the creatures speak in a language that they have never heard before. It’s some sort of strange, monkey language. If players help the men, they will say: “Thank you.”
  2. Players come across a group of five armed men who are arguing. They are discussing the strange undead creature. One of them says: “It’s starting to look like the cult’s army. They are making their way through the forest.” The other man says: “We should warn the people of the city.” One of the other men says: “No, we can’t tell the people of the city. The cult will punish us, the outsiders. We should just let the cult’s army do their job.”

Fantasy RPG Random Tables Books
Make life as a Gamemaster easier.... If you play Dungeon & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other fantasy tabletop role-playing games, this RPG random tables book is full of encounters, NPCs, and more. Available as an eBook or in a classic print format. Either way, you'll have a wealth of adventure ideas at your fingertips.

  • The Dark Circle – This is a thieves’ guild based in the city of Nocturne and is made up of a group of thieves and assassins that worship the Egyptian god Set. They are known for their dark magic, and for abducting and sacrificing beautiful women in the name of their deity. Their leader, Sanka, is known for his red hair and carries a poison tipped blade. To get into the guild, players must pass three tests; stealing, assassinating, and pawning. The guild got its start when Sanka got out of prison for some minor crimes. He had learned quite a bit while locked up in the dungeon. When he got out, he started luring victims to the castle and killing them. He would then take their belongings and pawn them. While he was doing this, he took a liking to a female who would deliver messages to his victims. He killed her last lover and now she is his devoted follower. Their symbol is a dark circle.
