Dungeons and Dragons 2023 Movie Update

Looking for a dungeons and dragons 2023 movie update? I’ve got you covered. Let’s be honest. D&D movies don’t have a great track record. That’s one reason so many fans are kind of torn about the latest incarnation. Sure, there’s people who are already saying it’s great and those who are saying it will suck no matter what, but I think we should give the movie a chance. You might change your mind when you read the D&D 2023 movie update below.

2023 D&D Movie Basic Info

If you didn’t already know, Dungeons & Dragons is a joint-venture production between Entertainment One and Sweetpea Entertainment. It is scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on March 3, 2023, by Paramount Pictures and has been anticipated by fans of the long-running tabletop RPG.

Dungeons & Dragons 2023 Movie Monsters

What monsters will be in the 2023 D&D movie? That’s yet to be seen, but a blogger recently listed their picks for the top 10 monsters they want to see in the new D&D film. The Owlbear and Beholder are there, of course, but you might be surprised at some of the other stuff on their list. Personally, I’d like to see something unique – something they release the stats for after the movie! If you have some ideas, let me know on Twitter.

Dungeons & Dragons Television Show?

Yes! It looks like there’s going to also be a D&D live-action TV show coming soon. Rawson Marshall Thurber is in line to adapt our beloved Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game for television. Even better, it doesn’t seem like a one-off. “We don’t want it to be just one series, so we’re developing a multi-pronged approach to television, a series of scripted and unscripted series, and we hope to bring them out early next year,” said Michael Lombardo, President of Global Television at eOne last November.

More Dungeons & Dragons 2023 Movie News and Updates

That’s all I have for now, unfortunately, but rest assured I’ll be keeping a close eye on the news feeds and will pass along anything that I hear. Stay tuned for even more great D&D content that can be used for all sorts of tabletop RPG systems. While D&D is great, there’s a lot of other RPG systems that deserve some love too.
