I’m getting closer to finishing my D&D encounter generator powered by GPT-3 API from OpenAI. The first generation of the tool is looking very promising. As I add new features and continue fine-tuning the language model, I think it will become even better as time goes on. If you have any questions about this Dungeons and Dragons encounter generator – that will work for most tabletop RPG systems – reach out on Twitter to let me know. I’m also looking for suggestions on how to make the tool better.
While this isn’t live on LitRPG Adventures yet, you can become a member and check out our other generators. I’ve built over two dozen so far, and our library of RPG content continues growing. It’s a great time to be a gamer. By harnessing the power of AI via GPT-3, I hope to provide a wealth of fantasy tabletop RPG content for gamers around the world. Stay tuned for more in the weeks, months, and years ahead. For now, I just wanted to share some of the progress on the random encounter generator.
Eventually, I want to be able to choose whether I want 10 or 20 or 100 encounters in addition to the location and other details. That’s a bit off, but I’m making progress and wanted to share with the gamers who stop by here on their journeys through the internet.
As I said, if you want to know more and stay in the loop on the progress of this and other RPG tools and generators, be sure to stop by LitRPG Adventures and become a member today. Our community is slowly growing as we try to save D&D for the next generation!
