Backstory:

As soon as he was old enough, he left Yalun in search of knowledge. He has traveled the four corners of the world, learning magic. He has since retired from adventuring, but has returned to his childhood home to study and teach others.

Personality:

Jynar is a kind and gentle man who is always willing to help others. He is an outgoing man who uses his charisma to help him. He often uses big words to sound intelligent, even though he’s actually quite dull.

Appearance:

Jynar is short and bald. He has black eyes, a small mustache, and a beard. He walks around wearing a white robe and a wizard hat. He has a black staff with a glowing white gemstone in it. His robes are usually dirty, which is odd for someone who usually dresses in them.

Start of Character:

Jynar has retired, but he has returned to Yalun to teach. He spends all day in his room studying the magic and potions he’s learned from studying.

Yerren

Born in Irontown (Grabisco Kingdom)

Backstory:

Yerren was born to a happy family of gnomes who lived in Irontown. He spent his childhood studying and practicing the ways of magic. It was a good life.

As he grew older, he began to realize that he was not happy with his life. He felt as though he was living for someone else and for something that he did not really like. He started to ask himself, “What do you want in life? What is important to you?”

He decided to go out into the world and find the answers.

Personality:

Yerren is a good friend who is always willing to help. He cares about others and will often allow himself to go hungry if it means that someone else might have food. He is optimistic and quick to help someone in need. He is also a little bit of a show off. He enjoys having an audience.

Backstory:

Ougden was a simple tradesman who had the good fortune to encounter a wizard named Nert while traveling through the forests in his home country. Nert was an old wizard who was interested in the world’s religions and mythologies, a subject that Ougden was knowledgable in.

After a few conversations, Nert offered Ougden the opportunity to learn from him and to study magic under him. Ougden accepted, and eventually became a wizard in his own right. He left his home country to travel the world and to study the rich diversity of the world’s belief systems.

He has encountered and studied the various deities of the human world, and is a promising student of the arcane arts. Ougden is an expert in illusion and alteration magics because of the way that the mind is so influential in a being’s perception of the world.

He is always on the lookout for new beliefs and new magics.

Personality:

Ougden is a gentle soul who tries to understand others. He is a man of many words, yet he is a deep thinker who ponders the weight of the world.

Appearance:

Ougden is small in stature, but he is deeply intelligent. He is long-haired and wears a beard. He is usually wearing a deep blue robe. He wears a ring on his right hand.

Ougden has journeyed to the Western Kingdoms to research the new gods of the land.

Biddle

Backstory:

Biddle was born in a small village named after the human founder of the village of Ebbros. His father and mother were farmers, but they had a small side business making quality gnome-sized furniture.

He was a good student and loved the village, but he hated his parents and the entire gnome community. They were boring and simple minded. Biddle wanted more out of life. The world was going to know who he was.

Biddle knew he was very small, but he imagined himself as a wizard. He was an expert with the sling and bow and could hit a target from a hundred yards away. He dreamed of becoming a hero.

One day, a chance came for Biddle to prove himself. A large group of goblins attacked the village. Biddle’s parents were killed, but he survived the attack. Alone and homeless, Biddle boarded a ship for the city of Iren’s Hold.

Biddle was discovered by a traveling band of heroes. He swore allegiance to them and was given food, shelter, and a new family. Biddle is a loyal friend and a good follower. He is always trying to make a name for himself.

Personality:

Biddle is smart and witty, but he is a bit cocky. He knows he is small, so he tries to prove himself a hero by working hard and making wise decisions.

Appearance:

Biddle is small and thin. He has long brown hair, brown eyes, and a big yellow pointy hat. He has a long yellow and brown pointed beard and a brown belt around his waist. He carries a longbow with a blue bowstring on his back and a quiver of arrows on his side. He uses a long sword on his right hip.

Biddle is with a band of ruffians in the city of Ebbros.
