Female Dragonlance Characters You Will Love

Want to know more about the female Dragonlance characters? We’ve got you covered. The classic series is a favorite here at LitRPG Reads, and we’re going to break down the best women in the D&D novel series.

Memorable Female Dragonlance Characters

Here’s our list of the most memorable – and well loved by us – women in the Dragonlance series of books.

Alhana Starbreeze

Alhana is the  daughter of  Iranialathlethsala  and Lorac Caladon of the Silvanesti Royal Family. Her looks are notable with pale white skin and long, dark hair.

During the The Silvanesti Campaign in the War of the Lance, the elves were in trouble. Alhana Starbreeze swallowed her elvish pride and asked the humans at Tarsis for help.

Sturm Brightblade helped her out during this mission, and their souls became entwined in a way. Alhana later married Porthios

Crysania

Crysania is a lawful good human woman from from Palanthas. Quite spoiled in her early years, the War of the Lance changed her like so many others.

After the death of her parents soon after the way, she met Elistan, a cleric. She quickly joined the church. This is when her life really begins to get interesting!

She goes with Tasslehoff Burrfoot to get help from Caramon Majere on the way to the Tower of High Sorcery at Wayreth. They were attacked by Lord Soth on this journey, but no spoilers!

Where she appears…

Goldmoon

Goldmoon is probably one of the more famous female Dragonlance characters. She is a descendant of Larken and Stormlight.

She married Riverwind and gave birth to one son named Wanderer and twin daughters named Moonsong and Brightdawn.

Goldmoon and Riverwind mmet up with Sturm Brightblade and Tasslehoff Burrfoot and the rest is fantasy GOLD, I tell you.

Kitiara Uth Matar

Also known as Kit, Kitiara Uth Matar, was the Blue Lady during the War of the Lance. She controlled the Blue Dragonarmy.

She is a human female fighter that you do NOT want to mess with. I’m not going to give any spoilers, but she’s key to the series in many ways.

Lauralanthalasa Kanan

Probably more commonly known as Laurana, she was a princess of the Qualinesti Elves and a Hero of the Lance.

She is a female elf fighter that is one of the most beautiful (and deadly) women on Krynn, the world of Dragonlance.

Again, no spoilers, but there’s a chance you’re going to fall in love with her like we did so many years ago.

Mina

Born to the gods when Krynn was created, Mina took the form of a human girl and washed up on the shores of Schallsea. Soon after, she was adopted by Goldmoon, a great Hero of the Lance .

I don’t want to go into her story too much and ruin the books for anyone, but she’s a very strong character that is a force for good in the world of Krynn. You’re going to like her a lot.
